As we start a new chapter this year, I want to share the direction I’m taking with The Southern Tech Lady. My mission has always been to support women and moms in technology because I know that there are not tons of resources for us in this area from women who have on-the-job experience. This year, I’m focusing on delivering even more value to help you thrive.

Empowering Women and Moms in Tech
My blog will continue to be a space for:
Skill Building: High-quality posts to help you sharpen your technical and professional skills.
Community Support: Stories, advice, and resources to help you feel supported in your journey.
Career Growth: Tips on navigating the tech world, balancing work and family, and staying ahead in the industry.
Personal Development: Strategies for managing stress, boosting confidence, and achieving your goals.
If there are specific topics or challenges you’d like me to cover that I didn't mention, then please let me know—your input is invaluable!
Expanding My Etsy Shop
In the Etsy shop, I’ll be offering:
More ideas for affordable Canva templates for teachers
Tech-themed accessories to add a fun, personalized touch to your workspace.
Customizable branding kits for personal and small business websites.
I’d love to hear if there’s something specific you’d like to see in the shop!
Web Templates to Help You Stand Out Online
This year, I plan to:
Make all my current web templates available for purchase.
Create 2-3 new themed templates to help your websites shine, with designs that are both functional and stylish.
If you’re looking to revamp your site or launch a new project, then I will have you covered.
Exciting New Venture: My First Wix App
One of my biggest goals this year is to develop and launch my very first Wix app. Wix recently announced that they have opened their marketplace up to the public. So, I want to take advantage of this new opportunity. Of course, I'll post a blog about that process and my progress. I want the designed to simplify and enhance your website-building experience. So, if you have any specific needs, then please let me know those in the comments.
Other Plans for The Southern Tech Lady
Here are a few additional ideas I’m exploring, but they are not at the top of the list:
Hosting in-person workshops or participating in speaking engagements about web development or coding.
Printable guides and goal-setting tools designed for busy moms and professionals.
I'm still thinking about game development, but I want to refocus on where I'm providing value. Game development doesn't necessarily fit into this niche anymore. So, even though game dev is still an interest, I want to make sure that I am keeping my actions are aligned with my goals.
I’m so excited about my ideas and plans for The Southern Tech Lady and for all of us in this amazing community. Your support means the world to me, and I’m always here to hear your thoughts, ideas, or suggestions for what you’d like to see next.
